ME 203: Design and Manufacturing
This course provides an integrated experience involving need finding, product definition, conceptual design, detail design, prototype manufacture, public presentation of outcomes, archiving and intrepreting the product realization process and its results.
I learned how to work safely and effectively in a machine shop, learning skills in subtractive machining (lathe and mill), sand casting, laser cutting, Oxy-Acetelene welding, as well as robust prototyping. I took an idea and turned it into reality.
For my project, I decided to make a cocktail shaker.
