One of the biggest changes I've noted since coming back to Morocco is the language policy -- I was here in 2004, doing research on the teaching of Tamazight in Moroccan schools. At the time, I heard that the policy wasn't being implemented very sincerely in a lot of schools -- many teachers were expected to teach students Tamazight, despite not knowing the language themselves!

However, interesting, now that I come back years later, I see visual cues of Tamazight -- using the Tifinagh script everywhere, from official maps and signs, also on schools and here on official educational policy documents. It's interesting if nothing else that this script has spread everywhere -- the question is whether it has integrated into actual education language policies. I think it is a lot easier to change signs than to actually change educational practicies!
