  • Managed volunteer recruitment and coordination for the 2010 lunar new year gala, which attracted more than 1300 audience
  • Managed volunteer recruitment and coordination for the 2011 lunar new year gala, which attracted more than 1700 audience
  • Pioneered academic luncheon discussion series, which is a small group discussion between one faculty and about ten students
  • Pioneered graduate mixer, an once-every-year event which provides an opportunity for the current students to network with and seek study and career advice from outstanding recent graduates
  • Pioneered peer-mentoring program, an once-every-year event which matches one new student with one current student so that the new student can seek advice and help in settling down and getting started at Stanford
  • Collaborated with the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Education (VPGE) of Stanford University to organize a workshop on setting expectations and resolving conflicts with the advisor
  • Collaborated with the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and the Career Development Center (CDC) of Stanford University to launch a series of four communication skills workshops for Chinese students
  • Collaborated with the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) of Stanford University to organize two psychological skills training workshops, on stress management and perfectionism respectively
