Aerial Fabrics

Aerial fabrics is a circus art that takes strength, flexibility, and grace. It was an awesome new application of my gymnastics background! I took a beginning statics aerial fabrics class, and it was one of the coolest things I have done at Stanford. We learned how to climb the fabrics, then how to stand on it by wrapping the fabrics around your legs and feet, and then poses. We learned some upside-down ones, which were my favorite. Below are some pictures and a video of me doing it!
