I have a variety of interests, though my interest in science, especially astromony, is what has predominated my life for as far back as I can remember (maybe that's why mom taught me the Greek alphabet when I was really little...). As I got older, this also turned into an interest in engineering, which led me to join the FIRST Robotics team at my high school, and now to majoring in mechanical engineering and minoring in astronomy.

But that being said, I have always pursued other interests as well.  I did gymnastics for 10 years, and continue to do it now.  I now also do wushu, a Chinese martial art.  I took Italian for 7 years (I'm not one bit Italian, by the way!) and have an interest in Italian culture.  I do social dance, and watlz and polka are my favorite.  I crochet, I enjoy painting, and I absolutely love to read.
