This summer, I have gotten the chance to do research for Professor Sheri Sheppard of the ME departement. The project I am working on looks at why people become engineers and engineering majors and why people choose to stay in or leave the field. As part of my job, I'm working to help Sheri's team design and impliment a survey about recent college engineering graduates and to investigate what they are doing now. I really enjoy being part of this team and feeling like I'm contributing to this important project.

Furthermore, this research is why I've started working on this portfolio in the first place. In order to document the experience of doing research under Sheri at Stanford, as well as my thinking as I have been making this portfolio, I have created this page which includes my weekly blog as well as my goals and plans for my summer.
