Your education will be more than just a collection of classes and a thesis or final project. In addition, you didn't arrive at Stanford as a blank slate. Your prior educational and work experiences matter and the ePortfolio product as well as process could serve as a platform to help you integrate and communicate how your experiences fit together. This could be for external audiences such as prospective employers or the portfolio approach could also be a useful tool to help you organize your field work notes or the development of a research project.
