Challah for Hunger is an international organization that raises money for non-profits by baking and selling challah bread. At Stanford, we bake between 100 and 200 loaves once a week and donate our profits to the AJWS Darfur Fund. We have an amazing management board and volunteer group that supports us every week. My junior year I was the Production Manager, making sure that we always had a fully-stocked and prepared kitchen. In my senior year I was Co-Director of Operations, overseeing kitchen operations and managing the different baking shifts.
